Melvin Tenent Melvin Tennant, CEO
Melvin brings over twenty seven years of destination marketing experience to the iDSS team. He has led three destination marketing organizations and is a past chair of Destination Marketing Association International. Melvin is a published author, frequent industry speaker and is a Certified Association Executive.

Two adorable and playful black Labs, Eboni and Summer, occupy much of Melvin’s time now that he and his wife are empty-nesters. They provide a great incentive for their youngest daughter to come home to visit from college.

Loren Reis Loren Reis, Director of Technology / General Manager
Aside from overseeing all things technical at iDSS, Loren also lends a hand with the day to day operations of the organization. Loren brings over fifteen years of technical experience to Team iDSS, primarily in software development and project management. Loren's work with the Technical Team helps to ensure that iDSS continues to deliver 'Best of Breed' products and services.

When not fully immersed in things iDSS, Loren busies himself searching the northern forests of Minnesota looking for the perfect tree to hang his deer stand in. One that comes prewired with internet access. The search continues..

Peter Hedlund Peter Hedlund, Executive VP of Sales
Peter brings over 25 years of hospitality related sales experience to our Sales Team. Prior to joining iDSS, Peter was the VP of Sales for the Greater Minneapolis Convention & Visitors Association. His past experience with DMOs really helps to bridge the gap between end-user needs and functional requirements.

Besides spending time away from work with his wife Leah, Peter remains steadfast in the pursuit of his life long goal. The perfect round of golf.

Karen Reis Karen Reis, Director of Product Implementation
Karen draws on her fifteen-plus years of software training and technical experience to ensure that each of our clients receives the training and support that iDSS has become known for. Karen also supports the iDSS sales effort by pitching in with product demonstrations and by working with prospects and clients alike in finding ways to make their organizations more efficient through the use of technology.

Aside from playing the role of 'Super Mom', Karen enjoys spending sunny summer afternoon's lakeside at the family cabin. She spends much of the fall season waiting for her sons and husband to return from the forests of northern Minnesota.

Julianna Nelson Julianna Nelson, Product Sales
Julianna joined Team iDSS in July of 2007 and brings with her 12 years of experience in sales, marketing and management. Her work with various government agencies, associations and corporations have all contributed to her well-rounded knowledge of the hospitality industry.

Julianna spends her time away from work teaching her two young daughters the fine art of hospitality through well planned play-dates. She has refined her skills in board games, arts and crafts and the ever popular Dance Dance Revolution.

Jody Halliday Jody Halliday, Client Services Manager
Jody brings a history of twenty-plus years of customer service and support with her to iDSS. She enjoys the complexity of the human mind and welcomes the opportunity to interact every day with our customers. She helps with client training, documentation, managing special projects and thinking of new enhancements for the system.

To occupy her 'spare' time, she has two teenagers, one husband and a rabid love of all things Christmas!

Shelly Hervey Shelly Hervey, Technical Trainer
Shelly adds sixteen years experience in corporate training to the iDSS Product Support Team. Aside from training new clients, Shelly is responsible for all training manuals and related product documentation. She further shows off her versatility by contributing to our Technical Team in writing custom database queries and reports for our clients.

Shelly has studied both Spanish and Dutch languages and has taught English as a second language to both Mexican and Bosnian immigrants. She lives in eastern Washington and enjoys downhill skiing in the mountains, collecting Ancient Egyptian art and remodeling her house.

Jesse Sando Jesse Sando, Client Services Agent
Jessi is the newest member of the iDSS Product Support Team. She recently graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice and now uses her investigative skills to work with our clients to resolve issues! Jessi also conducts refresher training sessions to ensure that our clients are operating at peek efficiency.

Jessi has three young children, all in elementary school. Her oldest plays hockey, her daughter is a proud Girl Scout and her youngest is an outgoing dancer, biker and skateboarder. They definitely keep her on her toes!

Mo Allen Mo Allen, Client Services Agent
Mo has over twenty years of training experience behind her with all sizes and types of groups. She has a degree in communications and public speaking. Mo has trained not only for non-profits, but she has trained in many corporate settings as well. Mo showcases her team spirit by carrying out many of our administrative duties in an effort to keep Team iDSS operating at peak efficiency.

Mo enjoys a variety of activities including reading, shopping and hanging out with her big family of siblings, but none as much as participating in the lives of her two grown sons and four darling grandkids.

Jody Halliday Technical Staff
Acting as the foundation of iDSS is our technical staff. This group of self-motivated professionals work day in and day out behind the scenes to provide our customers with 'Best of Breed' software solutions. Our team is well versed in a variety of development methodologies and tools. From networking and data storage to user interface design, our technical team has it covered.

Over time, we’ve been able to fine-tune certain 'environmental conditions' to further optimize productivity for this group of self-motivators. We keep them adequately hydrated with highly caffeinated soft-drinks and help them avoid direct sunlight at all times.
